Selling your plate - Commission Sales
We are always looking to increase our database of available numbers for sale and as such would be very happy to market your registration for you.
With a commission sale you basically set the sale price of the registration, we can advise you of what this should be. The market value of a registration number is determined by a number of factors such as;
- Supply and demand (the fewer available, the more its worth)
- Demand and supply (popular combinations are usually worth more)
- Shorter numbers are worth more, number 1”s worth more still
- Current Market conditions
- Actual combination of the number especially when spelling names
- Other similar plates currently on the market
- Similar combinations sold or NOT sold in the past
Some other dealers may offer you a higher quote simply to gain your approval to sell your registration but what you must remember is that overpricing will decrease the chances of a sale. We want to help you gain the best possible price but also offer a more realistic chance of a sale. However the setting of the asking price is purely your decision but please note that the higher the price the longer it will take to sell, the lower the price the quicker the chances of a sale.
