Buying at Auction
BOSSREG attend all DVLA Auctions, so we have excellent knowledge of how they work.
We have acquired many numbers by way of auction for many different clients in the past and saved them a lot of time and certainly a lot of money. You have nothing whatsoever to lose. If you instruct us to bid for you, we charge a fixed commission of only £175 + VAT.

Auction Bidders' Agreement
If you want us to bid for you, simply print off our Bidder Agreement and either fax or post it to us. We will also require your "bid price" in full.

Terms and Conditions
Please note that all registration numbers are sold subject to the following terms and conditions.
- If you would like us to bid on your behalf in the next DVLA auction please confirm your maximum 'bid price' for the registration number/s listed. To your bid must be added the Auctioneer’s fee of 8% + VAT plus then our commission of £175 + VAT and also £80 DVLA Transfer Fee.
- It is advisable that you put forward as high a bid as possible to increase your chances of a successful purchase, keeping in mind that you will only pay the 'Auction Price', not your bid price which may well be higher than the actual hammer price. A copy of the auction invoice will be supplied.
- A minimum deposit equal to your maximum "bid price" will be required via cleared funds either by cheque or bank transfer prior to auction. If your bid is successful, the balance of any monies owing will be required within 10 days after the auction has taken place. (Including our commission of £175 + VAT). If your bid is unsuccessful, we will refund all monies within 10 days and you owe us nothing.
- A telephone contact number is essential to allow us to take you through the bidding in the hall.
Auction Terms
- All Hammer prices are subject to 8% auctioneers fee, VAT @ 20% and £80 Department for Transport Transfer Fee. Our charge is just £175 + VAT, if we are successful in obtaining the mark for you.
- You the buyer agree to pay BOSSREG immediately in full for any successful bid or bids.
- There is no charge on our part if we do not manage to obtain the mark for you.
- You also agree to supply correct nominee details where asked on your Bidders Agreement before the auction.
- No refunds or changes can be made on any successful bid.
